Leogics named a Top 8 finalist of Sidec Deep-X 2026

Deep-X is Sidec's deep tech accelerator. Sidec describes it as a specialised 12-week accelerator built to supercharge Malaysia's next wave of AI-driven deep tech startups, with artificial intelligence as the main vertical alongside semiconductors, net-zero and sustainability, biotech, agritech and healthtech.

It runs as one of three tracks in the Selangor Triple Accelerator Programme 2026, next to Token-X and Retail-X. Sidec is the Selangor state agency for the digital economy, and says it has worked with more than 447 startups and SMEs since 2015.

• 511 applications were received across the three tracks
• 90 startups were selected to take part in the programme
• Participants pitched and exhibited at the Showcase Days on 18 to 20 August 2026 at Menara Affin, TRX, Kuala Lumpur
• Eight startups from each track advanced, making the Top 24

The 24 finalists present to a panel of judges and industry stakeholders at the Grand Final Demo Day on 14 October 2026, at the Plenary Theatre, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, as part of the AI & Semiconductor Summit (AiSEM@Selangor).

Twelve winners will be recognised, four in each track including one Champion. All winners receive a trophy, a certificate and the chance to join an international trip with business and investor matching, and each track Champion also receives a RM20,000 cash prize.

A place in the final eight is a selection, not a prize, and we treat it that way. What it does show is that our technology and business case stood up to live pitching at the Showcase Days, in a track where AI is the main focus.

It also sits alongside our other credentials: Malaysia Digital (MD) Status, our MYHackathon 2024 win, and the Scamora pilot with NFCC.
